Melanoplus aridus
Im not 100% certain, since there are so many species of Melanoplus that look so similar, and there may be a look-alike for this one, but I'm fairly sure this is Melanoplus aridus. Males are easier to identify, and this is a female; however, this is a distinctive looking and common species. Nice ballancing act to get at that flower salad.

Melanoplus sp.?
Pretty sure this is a Melanoplus, or something in that subfamily. I need to collect some specimens and sort these out.
