Pearl Crescent
They are similar, but this is Phyciodes tharos. There shouldn't be any Northern Crescents in Missouri, which makes it easy. The dark line just inside the dark dots on the hind wing is usually mostly missing on the Northern Crescent, particularly in males (this photo looks like a male), leaving a large orange patch. The same line on the fore wing is often similarly often mostly missing as well.
