I was going through some old images and found this. I'm not sure if it is even an insect :-(
I tried looking around in moths, but couldn't find it.

Yes, I'll make a page for it for now, though someone may disagree. If it wasn't a new species (new genus too) I'd frass it, but since it is, lets see what happens!


It's actually a new sub-family! Great work, I hope to see another photo of this guy soon!

Soon took a little longer than I had hoped, but it must be the season because it was almost exactly a year. I think this should be frass now. Not worth keeping for Sept., agreed?

What about

Not Frass?
I think that I may have taken a picture of one of these a while ago, and deleted because the image was even worse than these. I planned on getting an ID, then off to Frass. Instead, should a new guide page be requested and one or both of these be saved as place holders?

I googled for some info but couldn't find much
