monster centipede 1 - Scolopendra heros

monster centipede 1 - Scolopendra heros
Canyon Lake Reservoir County, Arizona, USA
September 19, 2007
We had slightly blurry pics of this critter that were frassed. Today we went back out to the same lake, same location and found this critter again. This time it was holding still for pics taken with the flash on the camera. On closer inspection of pic, you can see it has a spider in its grip and must be feeding. Later we motored by again, and it was gone.
