Tiny moth fly-mimic? - Eriosoma
Boot Lake, Lake County, Minnesota, USA

Size: Approximately 0.5cm
This fluffy little white moth was hatching and flying near a lake in NE Minnesota about 2pm. Not a very good flier. They look like floating bits of cotton. Appears to have 4 wings not 2 - but they do not have scales.
