Trepobates Water Strider? - Trepobates

Trepobates Water Strider? - Trepobates
Great Falls, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
September 6, 2007
I captured (photographically) a group of these guys just hanging out on the water, and when I looked at the photo, noticed they had different colorations. I assume they're still the same kind of insect, but figured I'd post up the variations here, cropped into separate images. Have I guessed what they are correctly? I see not many images of Trepobates here, and they all appear to be of one color type.

Appreciated!
What's the difference in coloration?

Colour
note the pale stripe on the side of the mesonotum (mid-thorax) that follows right after the dark stripe on the pronotum (prothorax)- in this species the pale stripe extends the whole length of the mesonotum.

Thanks
for the description. =)
