Flea Beetle - Capraita subvittata

Flea Beetle - Capraita subvittata
Westmoreland, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, USA
September 22, 2007
Size: ~ 5 - 6 cm
I found this beetle on a rock dump in six-foot deep trench at an abandoned mine. The location is in a forest, under trees. It is seen here crawling over a piece of quartz. It made only slow evasive moves and was quite docile. What is it?

Capraita subvittata ?
Thanks, Brad. I browsed through the flea beetle images. It looks to me a lot like Capraita subvittata.

Capraita subvittata
well it sure is Capraita and it looks a lot like subvitata which seems to be a common species

I thought that too
but I am not familiar with this genus so I can't confirm the ID.
