Silver-Spotted Fern Moth - Callopistria cordata

Silver-Spotted Fern Moth - Callopistria cordata
Town of Baileys Harbor, Hidden Corners Sanctuary, Door County, Wisconsin, USA
June 19, 2003
Size: Wingspan: 1 in.
Adult came to black light. ID was made by an expert examination of the specimen. The silver spots actually look silvery. This is a gorgeous moth and one of my favorites.
