Size: ~8mm body
Saw this termite walking under a Ceanothus bush in our garden (live oak/chaparral habitat). I think it is Zootermopsis angusticollis.

Not sure.
I'm not at all sure even which genus this is, but if the insect overall was (nose to wingtip) around an inch or longer, then I don't know what else it could be. Moving to order page for now.
