A sphinx moth larva? - Amorpha juglandis

A sphinx moth larva? - Amorpha juglandis
wooded neighbourhood area, Dallas County, Texas, USA
September 26, 2007
Size: 1.5"
Seems to be a small sphinx caterpillar, but not sure...

Moved
Moved from Walnut Sphinx.

ooh!
Walnut Sphinx, Amorpha juglandis. Not a lot of larval images of this very common sphingid in the guide. I see the moths quite a bit, but I've only ever found 2 caterpillars. I guess they hide well. I raised one last year with the help of some of the experts on here. Here is a link -- there are useful comments from others.
