Spider - ant fight - Anergates atratulus - female

Spider - ant fight - Anergates atratulus - Female
Repentigny, Lanaudière County, Quebec, Canada
September 25, 2007
A jumping spider attacked a female Anergates a couple of times but each time the ant escaped.
This sequence lasted 3 seconds: Picture on the left, the spider is ready to attack the winged ant (upper left corner). In the middle, the spider grabs the ant. Picture on the right, the spider is on its back: the ant seems to have the advantage. And the ant escaped...

Intriguing sequence
but a bit hard to follow. Could you put white hairlines between the photos for better separation?

Hairlines
I have add white hairlines to seperate the 3 pictures. I am not sure it will be easier to follow. The shots are not very clear, unfortunately. Tell me if it helps and if not, I'll just frass it.

Nice work!
You've improved on an already good thing. See what other comments you get before you decide to frass.
