Anergates atratulus

Anergates atratulus
Repentigny, Lanaudière County, Quebec, Canada
September 26, 2007
Size: around 3 mm
A Tetramorium caespitum carried this Anergates atratulus nymph 15 cm away from the colony and just dropped it. Second time I observe this behavior but this time I was able to see where the nymph was left and I captured it. It was dead.
