rove beetle - Ischnosoma

rove beetle - Ischnosoma
Dixville, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
September 25, 2007
Size: ~3-4mm

Ischnosoma sp.
It looks like I got 2 of the 6 species so far.

possibly genus Ischnosoma
I now found in Nearctica that the genus is well represented in N-America, and your beetle looks just like one of them.

There are six spp.

Thanks Boris
These little guys are difficult even with all the right angles showing.

Tachyporinae
can´t make out details for genus ID - but very slender antennae should narrow it down a bit.
