Crab Spider? - Olios

Crab Spider? - Olios
Julian, San Diego County, California, USA
August 3, 2007
Size: body about 20 mm
Large spider hanging onto stucco on my patio. I had a black light going, so maybe it came to snack on insects coming to the light.

Moved
Moved from Spiders.

Giant crab spider.
There are at least two families of spiders with that common moniker, and I don't know how to tell them apart:-( Sorry.
