Size: ~2-3cm
This robber was flying low over the substrate. It would then land and oviposit in the soft granite-sand. Very red appearance made it look like a red wasp at first. Large critter. Anybody have a possible ID?? 1 of 2 - Included to show the stripes on the thorax.
