No, not that, much better!
Not certain, but I think you've probably got a U.S. first there. Anyway, you say blue wings, that fits. That's Machaerocera mexicana. It's a woodland species that is shown on maps no closer to Arizona than s. Sinaloa, s. Durango and n. Nuevo Leon in Mexico (supposedly gets closer to s. Texas than Arizona). On the other hand, it is a Sierran insect, and the Sierra Nevada Occidental is not very well collected, so while surprising to see it from Arizona, it's not unbelievable. The projecting face (between the antennae), slender hind legs, sword-shaped antennae, and blue wings are all characteristic of this species.

Machaerocera mexicana?
David, I moved this based on information here but then later I read some of the comments from other postings and now I am somewhat confused. Is it your opinion still that this is M. mexicana or should I move it back?

David,
I'm working on ID request, and am wondering what level of the guide I should move this to.

Wow, that's pretty exciting.
Wow, that's pretty exciting. I hope the photo is good enough to confirm this.

I'd have to agree.
Originally, I was looking at this image on my WebTV, where I could make out little detail. This is definitely very different from T. cyaneipennis! Wow.
