No other creature comes close to how disgusting I find this one, it slithers like a snake, it's so very quick and it likes to crawl around in the dark and humid places. I was never able to catch one and it's just recently that I had asked my sister(who said she had some in her tub sometimes) to catch one if she saw one so I could submit it here. It's a very weak bug, as a little tap would squish it and hot water would make it turn clear and shriveled. I found that it is a Silverfish, someone may want to go into more details but I found a wikipedia entry here for it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverfish - one amazing fact I found about the silverfish and I'll quote directly from wiki "In extreme cases, silverfish may live for a year without eating". Pretty cool, thought I'd share with everyone. Thanks for reading

Many insects and most arachnids can live from several months to a year without eating. silver fish can be a slight pest to stored paper products and some foods but they are not harmful to you. Keep a reasonably clean house and you will have little problem with them.
