Strange Insect

Found this insect in our backyard. Never seen it before.

Solifugid
This is a solifugid. They are predators, and have enormously powerful jaws, but are in no way poisonous. They WILL bite if handled and can cause serious punctures to careless fingers!

Sunspiders, not really spiders but still arachnids.
