Ant-like bug -
Slaterobius insignis
Oak Openings, Ohio, USA
October 6, 2007
Found this very ant-like bug crawling on the sand. At first I thought it might be one of the Broad-headed bugs, but judging by the large "biceps", could it be a Big-eyed bug?

Confirmed
It is an adult, and has to be placed in Rhyparochromidae family now.

Seed bug.
This is a seed bug of some kind, and likely an adult with short wings. Several genera mimic ants. The 'original' family Lygaeidae has now been broken into ten (10!) new families, and I have no idea which one to place this one in, sorry.
