barklouse - Teliapsocus conterminus - Male

Thanks Philip
I'm photographing these small bugs with my 65mm macro lens, and setting it between 3x to 4x. It will go up to 5x, but that power's best on really small things, 1mm or less where depth of field isn't affected as much.

Teliapsocus conterminus male
Another great shot of a Teliapsocus conterminus male; Family Dasydamellidae. ID as fine clear hairs along the front half of the forewing, the big arching Cubital Loop (a U shaped vein on the top-middle of the forewing), the parallel nature of the M and Rs veins and the bicoloured pterostigma.

But more importantly, I now know how you are finding these little guys but how are you getting the shots (teleconverter and extension tubs I assume)? Are you still using the lends on you bio page. I assume there is a heck of a lot of skill and practice behind in as well.
