Hello,

Here is a strange fly photographied within my thuya hedge last July in Sherbrooke, Quebec (near Vermont).


I think is is a fly from the Rhagionidae family... Maybe Rhagio sp...

Any idea about its species???

No ideas as to species, but moving image to family where an expert may find it, eventually:-)

Finally the further I can go is that it is a fly from the Rhagionidae family, genus Rhagio...

It is then a Rhagio sp.
