Identification
This is definitely a (female) member of the genus Dolichopus (based on the presence of a dorsal bristle of the hind metatarsus). This genus is the most species rich of this family in the Holarctic (see Pollet et al., 2004; Brooks et al., 2005).

Stiletto
One of the stiletto flys maybe. But that is just a guess.

I thought it might be a Dolichopodid but the head has a different shape & the wings are held differently than the only other Dolichopodid I have seen , so I wasn't sure.
