my carpet has tons of these bugs - Mezium affine

Size: about 2 mm
tons of these guys have recently emerged from my carpet in the basement. they have 6 legs (one isn't visible in the pic) and long antenna. it doesn't have wings and has a hard shiny body. if anyone can help me identify it i will be very happy. thanks a lot!
