Beautiful shot of a male Gree
Beautiful shot of a male Green Bird Grasshopper, Schistocerca shoshone. Although Schistocerca species are often impossible to differentiate from one another, S. shoshone seems to be, in general, fairly distinctive. The hind tibia is often (always) pink and, at least from most of the photos I've seen, the eyes appear to be blue with whitish streaks. They also seem to be a fairly distinctive shade of green.

Thanks
I normally dont shoot grasshoppers but it was kinda pretty.
