Scrawny, upside-down syrphid seeks ID - Pseudodoros clavatus - Female

This is how I shot 'em before I knew what I was doing. Is there enough here for anyone to ID this svelte specimen?

Could it be Pseudodoros clavatus? (Thanks, Scott, for the clean-up and clue.)

I was just about to say
'possibly Pseudodoros clavatus , female', when I saw your note. Anyway, I agree.

Thanks, Hartmut
That's the clincher. I was totally flummoxed on my own.
