wasp confusion

wasp confusion
Ankeny NWR, Marion County, Oregon, USA
October 22, 2007
on the first sunny day in nearly a month, there were many wasps at Ankeny. Some Queen Anne's Lace sported up to 9 individuals with what looked like fighting going on.
But I am not sure which are which

The one in the lower right looks like Vespula germanica, the one directly above looks like Vespula pensylvanica and the two at the top look like Polistes dominula. There is also what looks like a cucumber beetle or something.

I agree
Your identification are quite correct as for the Vespids. One can add that both gender of Polistes dominula are present, the individual uppermost being a gyne, i.e. a female ready to overwinter.
