Rust-rumped weevil - Anthonomus suturalis

Rust-rumped weevil - Anthonomus suturalis
Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
September 17, 2007
Size: about 2.5 mm
This little guy landed on a piece on pressure-treated lumber at a deck construction site. I reached for my pocket vial, licked my finger, and lifted him stuck to my fingertip, depositing him in the vial.

Moved
Moved from Curculioninae.

I
suspect Anthono*mus. If you still have it, keep it for me, thanks.

Will do. I've added it to your request list.
I'll move it to Anthonomus for now.
