Zelus assassin bug? - Zelus

Zelus assassin bug? - Zelus
Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, USA
October 28, 2007
Size: small
I believe this is a zelus assassin bug, possibly luridus?

Zelus yes, but not luridus.
I seem to recall that Z. luridus does not occur in the west. I think our two choices are Z. tetracanthus and Z. renardii (and I may be misspelling at least one of those!). I need to key out my specimens and then assign IDs to the images. Nice shots like this should help:-)

Assassin bug ID
Interesting, thanks Eric
