This little fellow was quietly sleeping on my living room ceiling until I came along and spotted him ... then it woke up in a hurry!

Sybra alternans
It is a female of Sybra alternans (Wiedemann, 1823), an East-Asian species widespread in Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, (Java, Celebes, Buru), Philippines, Mariana, Caroline, Marshall and Hawaii (imported from the Philippines in 1917).
