Bristly Fly on my Hand
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
April 15, 2005
With my right hand I took a picture of my left hand with this sweat-lapping fly on it. I'm also posting a photo of this same fly's face.

Sarcophagidae? Tachinid? Help with ID appreciated.

Tachinidae. A flesh fly would have three black stripes on thorax and more checker-board pattern on abdomen.
