Works of art...
that they are. This is my favorite Wisconsin histerid as far as looks are concerned. Some of the neotropical Hetaeriinae make this look boring. Also some of the Chlamydopsinae, seen here and here and here.

 
I have followed Michael's histerid research
for a while. The neotropical and Australian myrmecophiles truly are amazing.
