wasp - Mimesa

wasp - Mimesa
Dixville, New Hampshire, USA
August 30, 2004
Any help on ID appreciated.

Moved
Moved from Psenini.

Mimesa
looks like M. lutaria (F.), but I'm not certain it is this species

Sphecid wasp.
This is a sphecid wasp in the tribe Psenini, possible Psen, Psenulus, or Mimumesa. Really hard to tell apart for relative novices like me.
