It does look...
very similar. If it is, this would be a first for VA. I just don't know enough to say it is Cylindromyia though.

Body stripe
Just a comment that all of the Xanthomelanodes in the guide have a black stripe down the body. Not sure if that is a problem or not? Just noticed that difference, and wanted to mention it.

Do you have a shot showing the hind legs?
