Yes.
Might be a species of Neduba? That genus is in disarray, and I'm not sure that a species can be determined from images alone. The good news is that many California species have very restricted geographic ranges, so simply having the locale information might help someone pin it down (so to speak:-)

The website below has some species listed as well as location maps. I can't vouch for their accuracy. There are a couple in Neduba that appear visually similar.

"Singing Insects of North America" seems to cover crickets, katydids and cicadas and have some keys.
