Hi again Jim, not sure if you looked at this one yet, but this link will take you to a set of photos that shows the wide variations in pearls--personally, I think your specimen looks like the top left one.

BTW, your other likely options are mimic or northern... but based on Kaufman's field guide and info here on BG, I still think it's a pearl.
