Size: ~2.8mm
underarm hair: this photo attempting to show what looks like long blond setae under the leg on the photo upper left. From the keys, this feature (if correctly identified here) would point to an expanded mesosternum (with long setae laterally), and in turn would key to only two genera (neither of which I could find species from the North East that seemed to match this beetle)
