Pollen Wasp #2 - Pseudomasaris edwardsii - Female

This is a pollen wasp forgaging on Phacelia hastata or silverleaf phacelia. It looks to me like Pseudomasaris edwardsii, which turns up in a PNNL survey not too far downstream on the Columbia River.

Probably,
facial & abdominal markings do look like edwardsii , so does the size judging by the size of the Phacelia flowers. This sp. of Phacelia is rather widely distributed, occurs also in CA, and P. edwardsii has been found on these.
By the way, though not directly related to these images, higher altitude records for Pseudomasaris zonalis (1800 - 4000 m; ~6000 - >13000 feet) refer to Phacelia frigida , a synonym for P. hastata ssp. compacta.

I'd agree.
P. edwardsii is more common than other species that far north...
