Fly with prey - Diogmites

Fly with prey - Diogmites
Pennypack Restoration Trust, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
September 1, 2007
Any chance that it can be IDed to species? I have a couple of shots but they don't show a lot more.
It looks like the prey is an Augochlorini bee.
Latitude: 40.1436 / Longitude: -75.0845
Southeastern PA

Diogmites
In PA there are likely only three species. D discolor, basalis and the northward creeping neoternatus. This is likely the far more common neo.

Thanks.
Thanks.
