Syrbula montezuma
Hi Jerry,
This is striking example. It is like a normal dark form male, but with a green head, not sure I've seen one just like this before. Chorthippus is from further north, and as far as I know has not been recorded in Texas yet. (It might be in some of the highest mountains in the Trans Pecos??)
