Pygmy Bee Fly - Bombylius pygmaeus

Size: circa 8 mm
These bee flies would periodically bask between bouts of ovipositing, as shown here. This one was basking, but I'm not sure I saw it oviposit, so I suppose it could be a male. See guide page for identification references.
