Hemipenthes sinuosa
One of the few bee flies that's easily identified to species. Wing venation is very important with these flies.

In the darkened area of the wing, note the "meatball" near the tip. That's what says it is H. sinuosa.

This insect doesn't have the same wing patterns or body hair as the other insect identified as Villa fulviana. Are there two morphs of this species? Is the other one misidentified?
