Orchid Bee - posting for location & date record - Euglossa viridissima -  Coconut Creek, Broward County, Florida, USA

My first photographic encounter with this bee was at Butterfly World in Tradewinds Park, Coconut Creek in 2004. I had been seeing these bees for at least a year and noticed that they were becoming more abdundant. That observation resulted in my photographing this male in order to get an ID ... and so began my fascination with this new Florida resident!
