Eastern Boxelder Bug - Boisea trivittata

Eastern Boxelder Bug - Boisea trivittata
John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA
September 3, 2006
Size: Maybe around 1.2 cm?
Saw this with a bunch of Eastern Boxelder Bugs (Boisea trivittata). I always thought it was some other species. Then I saw this image and it made me wonder, teneral maybe? The back end seems extended?

Yes, it looks like a freshly molted one
perhaps also yet to fully expand its wings, hence the back end looking a bit odd.

Frass?
I'm moving this to the guide as an example of a top view of a freshly molted specimen, but I will happily Frass if that is better. Not that good an image, but it might help ID?

I agree
worth keeping for the time being.
