Gereald, both of the wasp pho
Gereald, both of the wasp photos were moved to the correct species page, but you moved 'em back to ID request! Once they get identified they can leave ID request and go to the correct species page.
If you need any help getting the hang of BG just ask away. =)

The expression "moved from" is not clear to me. I did not know it had been moved to the correct location in the BugGuide so I sent it to ID Request.

It's an automatic message tha
It's an automatic message that means it has been moved from its previous location. Technically, I don't personally post the message. When I move a picture to a new spot, the system will automatically enter a message from me on the picture that says "moved from ..." and it will list the previous spot the picture was in. If you look above the picture, it will give the family, genus, species, etc. where it is currently placed.
In ID request, it will only say 'ID request' above the picture, since it might not have been identified or moved yet to the correct family, genus page, etc.
When any contributor or editor moves something from ID request to the correct page, however, it will not post that message "moved from." This message only happens when you move something that is not in ID request, say from Diptera (flies) to Hymenoptera. This is a problem for many people since editors may move their photos from ID request to the correct species page and the photographer has no idea where their photo went because the "moved from" message was not automatically posted by the system.
So whenever you see 'moved from,' it's just a marker made by the system telling everyone where the picture was previously before it was moved by the editor.
So I just moved both of the Mischocyttarus m. mexicanus pics out of ID request to the correct species page. Note it didn't give the 'moved from' message.
I hope all that made sense. =)

This is M. mexicanus mexicanus, the western form of the species. M. mexicanus cubicola only occurs in Florida and surrounding areas.
