Interesting color
William, was this specimen found in the Point Reyes area?

If so, it would present a counterexample to the last part of the following statement regarding the Point Reyes population from pg. 661 of Graves, Krejci, & Graves (1988):

"The characteristic very dark color of abrupta is not present in the Point Reyes population and most specimens have cupreous or greenish reflections, but green specimens characteristic of the coastal subspecies are absent."
