Who and What ? - Parasteatoda tepidariorum

I photographed this spider who was residing under the porch banister. Do you know what it is? I think those are egg cases, but did the spider lay all of them and why is the one proximate to the spider's head - white? Thanks so much for your help.

Cobweb Spider (Theridiidae)?
I appears to be a Cobweb Spider (Theridiidae). Possibly a Common house spider (Achaearanea tepidariorum), but I'm not sure.

I agree.
I concur with the species ID made by John. I don't know what the white object is, but the brown objects are her egg sacs. This is not a dangerously venomous species, by the way:-) Great image, we hope you will continue sharing your work here.

I'm still very curious as to that white ball. She seems so interested in it.
