I Was
Just thinking that myself. I went in and was looking at other pictures on BG and said "wait mine is different". I rarely see the dorsal view of a Monarch.

Well, this would be the first record for Michigan...On Bugguide at least.

 
I Have Chased
a butterfly before and loaded the pictures on my computer thinking it was just one butterfly to find it was a different butterfly (of the same kind though) because of different tears and such in the wings. I am glad to have a first for BG though.
