A small insect to ID - Sphecodes

A small insect to ID - Sphecodes
Victoria 1/4 inch, British Columbia, Canada
A small little insect waiting for things to warm up. ID would be welcome. Thanks.

A female.
Looks like a female (red abdomen, at least some red); males usually are all black and hard to ID.

Parasitic halictid bee.
This is a species in the genus Sphecodes, family Halictidae. They are parasitic in the nests of other halictids.

ID
Thanks for the info Eric.

Parasitic wasp
I'm not sure to what family, it is a parasitic wasp. Which one though.? Nice shot.
