Which bombus? - Bombus nevadensis -  Rocky Point Trail, Glacier National Park, Flathead County, Montana, USA August 17, 2007 Size: ap. 3/4"
This bee was moving around on a cow parsnip plant along the Rocky Point trail. This area, on the west side of the divide, lies above Lake McDonald in a severely burned (former) lodge pole pine forest, now heavily covered in flowers and shrubs.
