The date is pretty questionable on this one
Was this really shot in December? It is possible, since they overwinter as adults; however, the green leaves certainly don't look right for December! (A Maple tree I presume?)

I've corrected the date to 8/24/2007. Yep, a maple. Thanks for drawing my attention to this.

Yes, it's a Question Mark. The punctuation mark on the hind wing has a white dot.

butterfly
you may want to look at a eastern comma as well. I'm no expert but the coloring doesnt look right for a question mark.
